Length : 6 7/16" (6.431" on digital calipers)

Width : 4 3/4"

Condition : Sharp serrations/tip

Remarks : Extremely rare huge sharply serrated meg with perfect tip. This tooth has been around for quite a while (well, of course it's 5 million years old but as far as collecting goes it's been around a while). This was found probably 15 years ago and was tucked away in one of the best private collections in the world for a decade. We got it back a few years ago and have held onto it as well as this is the last tooth we have in stock from the famous Mark Renz book "Hunting The Hunter" (where it's featured in color on page 92 of the original printing). Anyway for the size (almost 6 1/2" long) this tooth is in amazing shape with razor-sharp serrations/tip, nice bourlette, solid root, and some enamel peel in the center of the flat side. This massive tooth weighs over 1.25lbs (580g) and would make a nice centerpiece of most collections.
