Length : 4 13/16"

Width : 3 5/8"

Condition : Sharp serrations/tip, Enamel peel

Remarks : This one won't appeal to anyone other than a serious collector but is without a doubt the rarest tooth we have available for sale. This is a pretty much flawless meg that the shark lost before the tooth was fully formed in the jaw (so this is from a back-up row - probably about 4 rows deep). Typically these are never shed and only found when a shark dies. The root is highly porous and not fully formed showing the sponge-like interior well. No lie we get ONE of these about every 2-3 years and if priced for the rarity would be valued in the tens of thousands of dollars......unfortunately it just doesn't work that way so you can have it for a bargain.
