Length : 5 3/8"

Width : 4 1/2"

Condition : Sharp serrations

Remarks : The rarest tooth on the Web page yet rarity does not always equal value unfortunately. While it may appear to be root damage this is actually an undeveloped (3rd or 4th row) tooth. These are not shed as they are not active "biting" teeth so the thought is they are only lost when a shark dies. As such they are exceptionally rare and you'll hardly ever see one. This tooth still shows the spongy bone texture of the root as it was not yet fully formed. A rarity for the advanced collector.
