Carcharias hopei - Maroc

Extinct Sand Shark
Early Eocene-Paleocene
Approximately 50-60 Million Years Old
Overall common but probably the most uncommon of the Moroccan Sand Sharks. There tends to be little agreement as to the ident of this species - C. hopei and C. robusta are the most common names. Since they are fairly common, the teeth we are offering are only the biggest and best - all being over 1 1/8" and in perfect condition.
